Biography

Pathology Associates of Princeton, a Sonic Healthcare Anatomic Pathology Practice, is privileged to include Jene Fede, D.O., as a member of its dynamic team. Dr. Fede has an impressive and extensive academic, teaching, and medical professional background.

Dr. Fede earned Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in biology, biochemistry, and mathematics from the Georgian Court College in Lakewood, New Jersey. Subsequently, she received her doctoral degree from UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey. She then went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia. Later, Dr. Fede completed her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the same institution, concluding her postgraduate training.

Following her postgraduate training, Dr. Fede began holding key positions in the hospital and university setting. She has held three teaching appointments in the departments of internal medicine, anatomic pathology, and medical technology, at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro in New Jersey.

Over the years, Dr. Fede has received many academic awards and honors. She holds medical research publications and articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. She is an active member of the College of American Pathologists, American Society for Clinical Pathology, American College of Physicians, and the American Osteopathic Association.

Dr. Fede holds full medical licensure and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.
