Biography
Pathology Associates of Princeton, a Sonic Healthcare anatomic pathology practice, is privileged to include Arati A. Inamdar, M.D., Ph.D., as a part of our dynamic medical team. Dr. Inamdar brings considerable medical professional and research experience.
Dr. Inamdar earned her medical degree from Dr. VM Medical College in India. After her medical degree, she graduated from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, with both a master’s degree and a doctoral degree in molecular and cellular biology. Following her degrees, she completed a residency in combined anatomic and clinical pathology at Rutgers Health, RWJBarnabas, and Cooperman Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Directly after her residency, Dr. Inamdar was a hematopathology fellow at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Inamdar has extensive medical professional experience. While in India, she served as a medical officer and teaching assistant in pathology at the Shahu Government Hospital. After her graduate degrees, she was hired as the research and development scientist and co-principal investigator at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in New Brunswick–Piscataway, NJ. She was a research and development consultant at Saiseva Biotech in India before becoming the principal scientist at Hackensack Meridian University Center and the John Theurer Cancer Center in New Jersey. Following her position as principal scientist, Dr. Inamdar was a consultant in molecular biology, NGS, and molecular pathology at Ansicht Scidel, Inc., also in New Jersey.
Dr. Inamdar has a prolific research and publishing background. She has published extensively in multiple peer-reviewed scientific and medical journals. She has given over 70 presentations at prestigious professional conferences, including conferences for the College of American Pathologists and the American Society for Clinical Pathology. She has also presented numerous oral presentations at both national and international conferences.
Dr. Inamdar is a member of several professional organizations including the College of American Pathologists, American Society of Clinical Pathology, Association of Pathology Informatics, and the Association ofMolecular Pathology.
Dr. Inamdar has full medical licensure and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.
