Biography

Pathology Solutions, a Sonic Healthcare Anatomic Pathology Practice, is privileged to include Charles Ladoulis, M.D., as a member of its dynamic medical staff. Dr. Ladoulis has an impressive and extensive professional, medical, and teaching background.

Dr. Ladoulis earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University. Subsequently, he earned his medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed his pathology residency at Brigham-Women’s Hospital in Boston where he was chief resident, followed by a teaching, and immunochemistry and biochemistry fellowship at Harvard Medical School.

After postgraduate training, Dr. Ladoulis held assistant professor positions at University of Pittsburgh, followed by his position as associate professor of pathology and biochemistry at University of Texas in Galveston. Dr. Ladoulis created the division of immunopathology and toxicology, and the division of medical informatics during his 12 years at Galveston.

Dr. Ladoulis was appointed chair of pathology at Mercy Health Center in Philadelphia, a three-hospital system, where he reorganized the department and implemented a new laboratory information system. He was recruited as chair of pathology and laboratory medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York to revive the pathology residency program. He also held a position as clinical associate professor of pathology at SUNY Brooklyn.

Dr. Ladoulis has been honored with various academic and medical achievements. He is a member of numerous professional societies, including the American Medical Association, American Medical Writers Association, American Society for Clinical Pathology, College of American Pathologists, and the Association for Pathology Informatics.

Dr. Ladoulis holds full medical licensure and is board certified in anatomic pathology.
