Biography

Twin Cities Dermatopathology, a Sonic Healthcare dermatopathology practice is privileged to include Andrew J. Larson, D.O., as a member of our medical staff. Dr. Larson has extensive professional and teaching experience with an impressive academic background.

Dr. Larson received his medical degree from the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Iowa. He went on to serve a four-year anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Here, he subsequently completed a dermatopathology fellowship.

Upon completing his postgraduate training, Dr. Larson began working with Twin Cities Dermatopathology as a Staff Dermatopathologist, where he has served for more than a decade. He has concurrently held multiple positions on the teaching staff of the University of Minnesota, including as an Assistant Professor and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pathology and the Department of Dermatology respectively.

Dr. Larson is a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the College of American Pathologists, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. He holds full medical licensure in the states of Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota, and Nebraska. He is board-certified in dermatopathology and anatomic and clinical pathology.

Dr. Larson has coauthored several oral and poster presentations that have been delivered at professional medical conferences.
