Biography

Trinity Pathology Associates, a Sonic Healthcare anatomic pathology practice is privileged to include Christopher V. Nguyen, M.D. Dr. Nguyen has extensive hospital and professional experience with an impressive academic background.

Dr. Nguyen graduated with honors with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia.

He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He served as a co-chief resident from 2005 to 2006. He then completed a fellowship in Surgical/Oncological Pathology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Dr. Nguyen then went on to complete a Breast Pathology Fellowship at the same institution.

Dr. Nguyen currently holds full medical licensure in the states of Texas, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

Over the years, Dr. Nguyen has developed extensive professional and hospital experience. He served as Medical Director and worked on Breast Cancer Quality subcommittees as the pathology representative. He also has extensive work experience in Blood Banking and has worked extensively as a laboratory medical director across numerous hospitals and facilities.
