Biography

LMC Pathology Services, a Sonic Healthcare Anatomic Pathology Practice is privileged to include Brody James Winn, M.D., as a member of our medical staff. Dr. Winn has extensive hospital and professional experience with an impressive academic background.

Dr. Winn graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of California at Irvine. He received his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles, where he was ranked first in his class.

Dr. Winn went on to serve a four-year anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the Rhode Island Hospital of the Brown University Alpert Medical School. Here, he subsequently served a gastrointestinal pathology fellowship.

Since concluding his postgraduate training, Dr. Winn has held a series of key positions in hospitals and laboratories in the Las Vegas area. He was the vice-chief of pathology and the laboratory director of Point of Care Testing and Specialty Care Inc. at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. He held positions as laboratory director and chief of anatomic pathology at the Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, where he also served on the medical executive and physicians performance improvement committees, prior to joining LMC Pathology Services as a staff pathologist.

Dr. Winn has coauthored three articles that have subsequently been published in peer-reviewed medical journals. He has also given numerous poster and abstract presentations at professional society meetings.

Dr. Winn holds full medical licensure and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology.
