Chuck Dlabik
Chuck Dlabik has a breadth of legal, compliance, regulatory, business and management experience that has enabled him to succeed in his current role as general counsel and chief compliance officer. As a former federal prosecutor with the U.S. Attorney’s Office (Eastern District of Virginia) and chief counsel at the United States Department of Defense (Office of General Counsel), Mr. Dlabik brings a unique perspective, including the ability to address complex and novel legal issues in the ever-changing healthcare space.
Shortly after joining Sonic Healthcare USA AP Division in 2019, Mr. Dlabik helped the company separate its legal and compliance departments to be more in line with government expectations. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Dlabik served as vice president and assistant general counsel of Orthofix Medical Inc., a global medical device company in Dallas, Texas. Here, he successfully guided the company through its corporate integrity agreement with HHS-OIG and helped it build a robust contracting and revenue cycle management organization. He also assisted business leaders in launching new products and growing revenue, all while continuing to bolster the company’s efforts in healthcare compliance.
