Biography
Timothy T. Chang, M.D. has been a member of Cleveland Skin Pathology since he completed his dermatopathology fellowship in 2008. Dr. Chang has extensive professional experience with an impressive research and teaching background.
Dr. Chang graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in Cleveland, Ohio. He went on to complete his medical degree with honors from the same institution. He completed a transitional year at Summa Health Systems of Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Chang then finished a three-year dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine serving as an academic chief resident in his final year of training. He concluded his postgraduate training with a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Chang is a member of six professional medical organizations, including the American Society of Dermatopathology and the American Academy of Dermatology. He has served as president of the Ohio Dermatological Association (ODA) and is currently the chair of the legislative and advocacy committee for the ODA. He has been a board member for the Cleveland Dermatological Society and currently serves as secretary and treasurer for the organization. He has full medical licensure in the states of Alaska, Colorado, Michigan, and Ohio. He is board-certified in dermatopathology and dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Chang has given numerous lectures at hospitals and universities. He has also given many presentations at medical society meetings and has coauthored a dozen publications across peer-reviewed journals and textbooks alike.
