Biography

Consultants in Laboratory Medicine, a Sonic Healthcare anatomic pathology practice is privileged to include Mary Anne Conklin-Reynolds, M.D., as a member of our medical staff. Dr. Conklin-Reynolds has extensive hospital and professional experience with an impressive academic background.

Dr. Conklin-Reynolds graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana with her Bachelor of Science degree. She then received her medical degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, graduating with distinction.

Dr. Conklin-Reynolds went on to complete a five-year anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals, during which she served as Chief Resident in her penultimate year. She also finished a cytopathology fellowship at the University of Michigan Hospitals.

Dr. Conklin-Reynolds began working as an Associate Pathologist with Consultants in Laboratory Medicine 2001, where she has worked ever since, currently serving as a Staff Pathologist.

Dr. Conklin-Reynolds is a member of six professional medical organizations, including the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the North Central Cancer Treatment Group. She leads a number of notable committees, such as the Breast Multidisciplinary Team at the ProMedica Cancer Institute. She is also Chairman for the Department of Pathology at Flower Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio, and a member of the Aurora Diagnostics Breast/GYN Practice Council.

Dr. Conklin-Reynolds has received a number of awards and honors including Dean’s Advisory Council Award, Regent’s Scholarship, and the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation from the American Women’s Association. She has co-authored articles that have subsequently been published in peer-reviewed medical journals. She has also delivered many oral and poster presentations at professional medical conferences.
