Dana Simonds serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for Sonic Healthcare USA. Sonic’s laboratories are committed to providing services and solutions to meet the individual needs of the local medical community in an ethical and compliant manner. Dana and her team are responsible for leading the development and implementation of an effective Corporate Compliance and HIPAA program.
Ms. Simonds has close to thirty years of experience in the laboratory and pathology industry, primarily on the provider side. She has also had the opportunity to work in hospital consulting and payor contracts. Her experience with LabCorp-Dynacare, United Healthcare, Accumen and most recently, Inform Diagnostics has provided deep industry experience uniquely qualified to drive a regulatory compliance program in the laboratory space. She attended Dallas Baptist University, maintains certification in Healthcare and Privacy Compliance through the Health Care Compliance Association.
