We have recently learned of internet scams where individuals claiming to be Sonic HR representatives are extending employment offers and also requesting payment for certain items as a condition of hire.

Please note that Sonic HR teams do not use Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, or any other external mail service to send offer letters or official messages. Furthermore, Sonic does not ask candidates for banking or other financial information, or to pay any money as a condition of employment.

If you are the victim of this scam, please go to the FBI’s website at www.ic3.gov and file a complaint.
